SUTRA

SUTRA (Centre for Policy, Systems and Social Development) advises 3Sixty Law Group on disability law, accessibility, and compliance obligations under India's disability rights framework. Its work with the firm focuses on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPwD Act), the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD), and the intersection of these instruments with employment, education, real estate, and consumer protection law in India.

SUTRA is a public policy think tank focused on inclusive governance and systems reform, with a particular emphasis on translating disability rights obligations into implementable frameworks for employers, service providers, and public institutions.

Akshay Jain, Founding Partner of SUTRA, leads the engagement with 3Sixty Law Group. He previously served as Programme Manager at the National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP). His policy research has been cited in the Supreme Court of India in Rajive Raturi v. Union of India, and he has represented India at the World Urban Forum 2024 in Cairo and the Global Disability Summit 2025 in Berlin.
